Meet Cathi and David…

Cathi and David have more than 4 decades of fundraising experience as missionaries with The Navigators. they have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren, they love to travel, go to soccer games and work together.

Cathi Uhles  is an experienced communications professional, with notable positions as a Business Manager of a large Christian missionary school overseas, editor and writer of several organizational newsletters, experienced overseas missionary and funding trainer and coach.  She has a BS in Business Administration and studied coaching and leadership at The John Maxwell Team, receiving certification in both.  She is certified in the PDP assessment tool and has worked for 12 years screening pre-field candidates for missionary positions. She developed, facilitated and led training events for new appointees to develop practical skills in fundraising and partnership development, as well as coaching new missionaries in their funding quests until they were fully funded. Cathi’s greatest passion is getting new missionaries on the field as quickly as possible, fully-funded and spiritually encouraged.  She also wants to help missionaries who are overseas stay fully-funded in order to remain overseas as long the Lord leads them.

David Uhles has led military, collegiate, and overseas ministries.  He learned how to raise funds and has helped others with their fundraising.  He has been a regional director for the Europe Eurasia region for over 20 years.  He loves to coach missionaries in life, spiritual issues, disciple others and teach them how to help others as well.  He is a trainer, encourager and loves to see new missionaries reach full funding and arrive on the field spiritually healthy. One-on-one training has been what David and Cathi have both been trained in since becoming believers.
